- The Mr. Chicken from Holy Grill in Calgary. One reader said it’s one of the best reasons to visit the city.
- The Croque ‘Mon’ Soubise from Partake in Edmonton. This take on the famous croque monsieur sandwich “could be the best dish in the city,” said one reader.

- The Rabinowitz from Buzzy’s Luncheonette on Salt Spring Island. The sandwich with smoked meat, sauerkraut and Russian dressing has been called “the best Reuben sandwich west of The Main in Montreal.”
- The smoked pulled brisket sub from The Smoke Shack in West Kelowna. “It’s simple, but I can’t get enough of it,” one reader said.
