ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

There will be times today when the speed of events in the world at large threatens to overwhelm you, but if you force yourself to stay calm you won’t be swept away. You will though need to be a bit selfish — focus only on what matters to you.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

If a friend or colleague makes it clear today that they think you are on the wrong track you must not allow yourself to be offended. It’s highly unlikely their aim is merely to annoy you, so maybe you should listen to what they have to say.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If someone drags their feet over a joint project of some kind you may feel betrayed but deep down you may also be relieved. For some time now you have been having doubts about the project yourself and now you’ve got an excuse to delay it.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

An offer of some kind may sound tempting but before you accept it you should ask yourself who stands to profit from it the most. It could be they want to get you on board for no better reason than to benefit from your good reputation.

You may be tempted to tell the world about your latest big idea but the planets urge you to keep it to yourself. If your rivals get wind of it they may decide to steal it from you and make it their own. Remember, you cannot copyright ideas.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

If a friend asks you to do something that is clearly at odds with your own outlook on life you must say “No” and mean it. Even if there is money to be made you will lose out in the long term, so stay true to your values.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

As one of the zodiac’s air signs you possess plenty of common sense, but what you see or hear today could turn your head and lead to you making a decision you may regret. While your ruler Venus is moving retrograde you cannot afford to take risks.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):
