S&A Communications owner to strengthen agency partnerships across the U.S. and Canada
RALEIGH, N.C., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) has named Chuck Norman, APR, owner and principal of S&A Communications, its next regional vice president for North America, effective January 2027. Norman will succeed Natalie Ghidotti, APR, who will move into the role of PRGN president-elect.
In his new role, Norman will support member agencies across the United States and Canada, encouraging collaboration, sharing expertise and helping agencies develop business opportunities together. He also will serve as a link between North American members and the network’s global leadership.
“I’m honored to have the confidence of my PRGN colleagues and the opportunity to serve in this role,” Norman said. “I’ve benefited throughout my career from people who shared their time, experience and advice, and I’ve always felt a responsibility to do the same. Whether through mentoring, professional leadership or helping agencies work together, I want to contribute to the profession that has given me so much.”
Norman currently serves on PRGN’s Executive Committee and has chaired its Membership Committee since May 2024. His work has focused on strengthening the network through member recruitment and development, connecting independent agencies with complementary capabilities and local market expertise.
“Chuck understands the challenges and opportunities facing independent agencies and the value of bringing the right people together,” said Bill Southard, PRGN president-elect and incoming president. “He’s already made an important contribution through his leadership of our Membership Committee. His experience, commitment to the profession and willingness to help others will serve our North American members and the broader network well.”
The appointment continues Norman’s longstanding service to the public relations profession at the local, state, regional, national and international levels. His previous leadership roles include president of the Raleigh Public Relations Society (RPRS), president of the North Carolina Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (NCPRSA), and chair of PRSA’s Southeast District.
At the national level, Norman served on PRSA’s national board nominating committee and the Executive Committee of its Counselors Academy, which supports public relations agency owners and senior leaders. He joined the academy’s Executive Committee in 2013 and served as its chair in 2019.
Norman holds Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) and is a certified crisis and reputation management consultant. His professional service has been recognized with NCPRSA’s Michael L. Herman Excellence in Mentoring Award and RPRS’s Watt Huntley Award for Lifetime Achievement, which he received in 2022.
With more than 30 years of public relations and marketing experience, Norman advises organizations on communications strategy, reputation management and business challenges. He also has spent about three decades as a guest lecturer at North Carolina State University, sharing practical experience and career guidance with future communications professionals.
Through S&A Communications’ participation in PRGN, Norman has helped bring together agency teams whose industry expertise and local knowledge strengthen client programs. That experience informs his approach to regional leadership: building trusted relationships that help member agencies learn from one another and better serve their clients.
