InventHelp Inventor Develops New Set of Accessories for Subwoofer Speaker Cabinets (IPL-739)

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — “I wanted to create a system that can be installed to not only protect speaker openings on subwoofer cabinets, but also to provide a means for quick mounting of a speaker within a speaker box enclosure of a new box or a box that has been damaged by drilled stripped holes,” said an inventor, from Gary, Ind., “so I invented the Eclipse. My design would provide a useful new product for home and car audio enthusiasts, whether for cruising around the city or competition use.”

The patent-pending invention allows for quick installation and/or detachment of a subwoofer speaker on a new or damaged speaker cabinet. In doing so, it would surround the perimeter of the speaker opening. As a result, it helps protect the subwoofer speaker cabinets from being cracked and damaged, while providing a solid and robust speaker sound. The invention features a durable design that is easy to install or detach and use so it is ideal for home, commercial sound and/or competition speaker enclosures of subwoofer boxes, etc. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.

The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
