NORTH HAVEN, Conn., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Bowling TV, the first and only 24/7 channel dedicated to all things bowling, is now available on The Roku Channel and VIZIO WatchFree+. Bowling TV is also announcing the arrival of “Beat the Champ,” a weekly show where top bowlers compete head-to-head for prize money and the chance to return the following week.
Bowling TV is currently airing two episodes of “Beat the Champ” every night from 8-10 p.m. Eastern, streaming all 64 episodes from the first two seasons chronologically leading up to the Season 3 premiere on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. New episodes will then air every Thursday through June 2027. Season 3 is filming now.
“Bowling fans are always looking for more ways to watch the sport they love, so we’re thrilled that Bowling TV is now available on The Roku Channel and VIZIO WatchFree+,” says Brendan Canning, co-founder and chief commercial officer of Triple B Media, which operates Bowling TV. “We keep adding more and more live tournament action and great shows like ‘Beat the Champ,’ which is a cool combination of competition and entertainment. We want to appeal to all fans of bowling, no matter what they like or how they view it.”
“Beat the Champ” features a show built around a returning champion from the previous week. New qualifiers attempt to knock off the champ and earn the right to return. Standard shows consist of four bowlers and three matches, with the returning champion seeded into the final match. It all builds to the season-ending Beat the Champ Invitational. Any player who appears on a show during the season qualifies.
“We’re excited to join Bowling TV’s impressive lineup and provide a new level of exposure for the show to true bowling fans everywhere,” says Joe Ciccone, executive producer of “Beat the Champ.” “The head-to-head competition is compelling, but it also allows the personalities of the bowlers to shine through so fans can get to know them. It’s perfect for Bowling TV, a place where hardcore bowling fans can enjoy the sport they love.”
Launched in partnership with the United States Bowling Congress – the national governing body of bowling – Bowling TV features international competitions, USBC and Professional Women’s Bowling Association archival programming, live events and original bowling content, including “Tang at the Lanes” with Professional Bowlers Association star Darren Tang, and live coverage of PBA and PWBA regional events.
In addition to The Roku Channel and VIZIO WatchFree+, Bowling TV is available on Prime Video, LG Channels, Xumo Play, DISH TV, Bonusview, Sling Freestream, Plex and Free Live Sports, as well as Triple B’s owned-and-operated Roku app. For more information about Bowling TV, visit watchbowling.tv.
