Former US presidents Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Bill Clinton were among dozens of high-profile figures present at the Reverend Jesse Jackson’s funeral service. The men remembered Jackson for his ‘passion’ and for paving the way for Obama’s presidential run.
Former vice-president Kamala Harris also spoke at the service and noted the country’s political climate.
Jackson, a lifelong civil rights activist and former presidential candidate, passed away on 17 February.
