1818 American Grille Celebrates Grand Opening in Bath, Ohio

1818 is the latest restaurant concept from the team behind The Last Page, pairing high-quality ingredients and thoughtful execution with a polished yet approachable atmosphere designed for everything from weeknight dinners to special occasions.

The much-anticipated full opening of 1818 is building on an already glowing reception of The Grille Room, an intimate dining experience located downstairs with a full view of the restaurant’s kitchen. The Grille Room has already been named an Akron Life Best of the City 2026 winner and earning a 4.7-star rating on Google with more than 50 reviews.

At the center of the 1818 experience is its wood-fired grill, which brings depth and character to a menu rooted in elevated American classics. Led by Chef Brad Race, the culinary program focuses on quality ingredients, refined technique and familiar dishes executed exceptionally well. The wood-fired grill was a foundational part of the concept from its initial development, influencing everything from steaks and seafood to seasonal vegetables.
