The Basketball League and the Frederick Flying Cows will be hosting the annual league all star weekend on April 18th and 19th, 2025 at Hood College (Woodsboro Bank Arena)
FREDERICK, Md., April 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — As previously announced, the Frederick Flying Cows are excited to re-invite the press to cover this year’s TBL (The Basketball League) All-Star Weekend at Hood College’s Woodsboro Bank Arena in Frederick, Maryland. The event will take place on Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th, both at 7:00 PM, offering basketball fans an unforgettable weekend filled with electrifying action, entertainment, and competition.
Friday, April 18th: All-Star Contests with Special Guests and Entertainment
The weekend kicks off at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 18th, with a high-energy lineup of events, including the 3-Point Contest, a 3v3 Tournament and the highly anticipated Slam Dunk Contest, presented by Visit Frederick. These contests will showcase some of the most exciting talents in the league, and will be judged by special guest judges, to be announced, adding extra excitement to the festivities. In addition to the TBL stars participating, the 3v3 Tournament will feature an official “Team Frederick”, made up of local basketball stars – and the Slam Dunk Contest participants will include the winner of the Anything Is Possible Flying Cows Dunk Contest, a viral video submission contest.
Saturday, April 19th: All-Star Game – Flying Cows vs. TBL All-Stars
The action continues on Saturday, April 19th, as the Frederick Flying Cows, currently undefeated with a perfect 10-0 record, will face off against the TBL All-Star Team at 7:00 PM. 12 players from all across the United States have been selected by league executives to form the official 2025 TBL All Star Team! Players will be travelling into Frederick, Md from from California, Montana, Washington, Missouri, Florida, Indiana, New York, and North Carolina, as well as representations from family divisional foes to the Flying Cows, the Capital Seahawks (DC), Virginia Valley Vipers (VA), and Jersey Shore Breaks (NJ). The full All Star Roster will be released later this week. This highly anticipated matchup is especially exciting as it marks Coach Corporal’s first-ever 10-0 start in his 9 years with the TBL, making this a historic moment for both the team and the league. This unique All Star game setup is primed to be an exciting matchup for Flying Cows and Basketball fans alike!

Following the festivities on Saturday evening, the Flying Cows, TBL league executives, All Stars and more, will commence the weekend with a post-event celebration at Bentztown Restaurant, located in Downtown Frederick. The event will take place from 10:00pm-12:00am and is open to the public to attend.
