The presentation featured an archive of Target’s designer-helmed creations— including pieces from Michael Graves, Marimekko and Missoni—and culminates in a bespoke line of bags created for New York Fashion Week by a collective of established and emerging designers. Featured contributors included Public School New York design duo Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, Chloë Sevigny, Venus Williams, Laila Gohar, Max Alexander, Kahlana Barfield Brown and Daniel Arsham, alongside emerging designers from Pensole Lewis College of Business and Design.
This Saturday (9/12), the celebration will extend to Target’s SoHo concept store with an interactive customization experience for NYFW. Plus: the chance to win one of 10 reinterpreted Public School New York Target bags via @Target on Instagram.
