No Nobel for Trump

President Trump is getting close to possibly receiving a 2025 Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts in stopping the Israeli war against Hamas. Even though he might have been instrumental in this happening, shouldn’t the Nobel Peace Prize Committee take into account his war-like tendency to conquer Canada, making Canada his 51st state? You shouldn’t and can’t award a man anything for bringing about peace while at the same time, he wants to conquer Canada to become another U.S. state. He orders American troops to maintain law and order in many American cities that are not out of control and not burning to the ground, which are mistruths spewed by this president. He promised to end Russia’s war with Ukraine, which rages on. Trump is getting close to becoming a real autocrat by not following the U.S. Constitution and spewing daily lies and yet somehow, he seems entitled to get a Nobel Peace Prize. How awful!

(It would be a shocker to see him get the Nobel Peace Prize, even if any role he played in a Mideast peace deal is laudable)

Pushing pipelines

As a (former advertising agency president – now retired), my advice to Premier Danielle Smith to get Prime Minister Mark Carney to approve the pipeline is an advocacy campaign to make it more “lovable.” Who doesn’t love the holidays? I’m thinking of either “Pumpkin-Spice Pipeline” or “Candy Cane Pipeline.” With this positive positioning, people will be lining up to get pipelines!

Asked for it

The Alberta teachers are on strike and one of their biggest issues is class size. How come no-one is stating the obvious that classes have dramatically increased due to the federal government open-door immigration policies? You cannot let this many people into the country without major pressure on the existing social infrastructure. Ironically, the teachers’ union endorsed the left, Liberal/NDP parties so essentially they have contributed to the class-size problems the teachers now face.

China’s playbook

The other day I woke from a dream to think about Uyghurs, of all things. The playbook of the federal Liberals is aligned with the same type of suppression the Chinese use. Public prosecutions of anybody who doesn’t agree with them, even ostriches. Canada has left the Uyghurs behind and has embraced another lost cause, Gaza – as we all know David slew Goliath. Nothing changes when people hate each other. I wonder which countries will recognize Alberta on the bandwagon as Carney has done in Gaza

(Seems there are a few places out there thumbing through that playbook)
