Move creates opportunities that build on EWTN history and advance forward-thinking vision.

IRONDALE, Ala., July 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — EWTN Global Catholic Network Chairman and CEO Michael P. Warsaw announced a new organizational structure designed to enhance EWTN’s faithfulness to its mission in the digital landscape and increased impact around content development and distribution.

Under this new structure, EWTN will align its operations around two major divisions:

  • EWTN Studios. EWTN Studios will expand on the EWTN legacy of developing the most impactful content in the Catholic space. It will continue to fulfill the organization’s mission of producing compelling Catholic content while also lifting up other creatives alongside the EWTN team, doing so in a way that reflects the changed nature of media and radical way content production workflow and technology has evolved.
  • EWTN Digital. EWTN Digital will build the platforms to distribute EWTN Studios content and that of aligned creatives to serve new generations alongside the legacy EWTN audience. It will launch and manage a globally scaled streaming platform that will house the collection of the world’s most beloved Catholic stories and personalities.

“Under the leadership of our Foundress Mother Angelica, EWTN learned to constantly adopt new technology to reach souls. Just as our major network peers in secular media have done, this change in structure will allow EWTN to expand our content offerings and reach new audiences in the places where people now consume media, while remaining always anchored in the teachings of the Church,” noted EWTN Chairman and CEO Michael P. Warsaw.

The announcement also included the appointment of Peter Gagnon as President of the newly created EWTN Studios and Sean Graber as the President of EWTN Digital citing the new leadership as proven leaders in their fields distinctively qualified to lead EWTN to meet the challenges of the evolving media landscape.

“In these new roles, Peter and Sean bring diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and legacies to the EWTN family.,” said Warsaw.  “They are the ideal choice to guide these important new initiatives at EWTN.”

A long-time leader at EWTN, Gagnon has been with the network for 32 years and pioneered initiatives in content production, global expansion, and multi-lingual offerings. With over a decade leading coverage of papal conclaves, jubilees, and world events for the Network, Peter has a tremendous understanding of the legacy of EWTN and is one of the few remaining team members that knew and worked with Mother Angelica.

“EWTN began offering the Mass, the most essential expression of what EWTN exists to bring to the world,” said Peter Gagnon, President of EWTN Studios. “And I am excited to embark on this pivotal moment in EWTN’s history as we take the next steps in continuing Mother Angelica’s mission to proclaim the truths of the faith to both our existing audience as well as a whole new generation of Catholics.”

With an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Graber’s background in business strategy, digital transformation, and product management has already impacted the Network’s digital infrastructure and schema. Joining EWTN after a global search in 2024, Sean’s work with blue chip brands affirms EWTN’s promise to bring to market the fruits of the changes Sean came to deliver as a critical part of the future of EWTN.

“Mother Angelica was the original innovator, and it’s humbling and exciting to continue her legacy by bringing EWTN’s message to the next generation of Catholics—a message that has profoundly shaped my own faith life,” said Sean Graber, President of EWTN Digital. “I’m thrilled by how this reorganization positions EWTN to reimagine Catholic media at such an inspiring moment for the Church, as many rediscover their faith and we celebrate the historic election of an American pope.”

With close to half a century in operation, EWTN has been a media partner of the cable television industry since its beginning alongside leaders like Comcast, Cox, and Direct TV. Its global footprint and physical legacy around the world informs the similar approach the apostolate will take in disrupting the streaming and content industry.

The promise of more changes and developments was made by the long-time EWTN Chairman.

“With continued trust in God’s Providence, I am incredibly excited about this next era of EWTN’s history. We will build new platforms that are best in class where our audiences can engage with our content as part of their daily faith journey. EWTN will continue to be present wherever souls thirsting for Truth are found,” continued Warsaw.
