Officers were unable to locate the child when they responded.
Police, who released an image of what appears to be a toddler walking in the middle of a street, said at the time that they wanted to confirm the well-being of the child.
“So obviously concerning to us that we would receive a phone call and we would have some photographic footage as well of a child who’s in a live lane of traffic,” Const. Taylor Halfyard told CP24. “That’s somewhat concerning, an unattended child.”
Police asked anyone with information to contact them at 905-453-2121, Ext. 1133.
