Canada’s men’s soccer team will play another game at home this fall, with Toronto hosting a CONCACAF Nations League quarter-final on Nov. 16.
The matchup will be the second in a two-legged home-and-away aggregate series, with Canada’s opponent to be decided at the group stage of the tournament in October.
The Canadians earned a bye through to the quarter-finals with a third-place finish in the 2024-25 iteration of the tournament. Mexico, the United States and Panama also went straight through.
The winner of each quarter-final will advance to the CONCACAF Nations League finals in Los Angeles in March 2027, and qualify for the 2027 CONCACAF Gold Cup while the four losing teams will go on to play in the Gold Cup’s preliminary round.
The national squad is currently training in Toronto where the 30th-ranked Canadians are set to host Chile in a friendly on Saturday.
Canada will then take on Peru in Montreal on Oct. 3 before facing the U.S. in St. Paul, Minn., on Oct. 6.
