Castle in the Clouds Announces Annual Holiday Event Christmas at the Castle

MOULTONBOROUGH, N.H., Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Castle in the Clouds is pleased to announce the return of their popular annual holiday tradition, Christmas at the Castle. Christmas at the Castle is a series of events held at the National Historic Landmark Lucknow Estate across three weekends at the start of the holiday season. This year, the season’s theme is “Old-Fashioned New England Christmas,” offering visitors a holiday experience perfectly tailored to the backdrop of the historic home.

This year, Castle in the Clouds is offering visitors three different ways to experience the magic of Christmas at the Castle. The holiday festivities begin with the Christmas Preview Party on the evening of Friday, November 20, at 4:00 p.m. During the preview, guests can visit Lucknow Mansion and experience the holiday festivities before the general public. The Preview party will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, carolers, and first access to the Artisan Fair held in the Carriage House. Tickets for this exclusive fundraising event are limited, with proceeds benefiting the nonprofit mission of Castle Preservation Society.

The public Christmas at the Castle events and activities begin the next day. Every Saturday and Sunday from November 21 through December 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., visitors can spend the day exploring the Castle, admiring the holiday décor provided by local businesses, and participating in holiday activities. In addition to the seasonal decorations, Christmas at the Castle promises holiday spirit and family fun. Visitors can shop with local vendors at the Artisan Fair, take a photo with Santa, create holiday crafts, and enjoy complimentary hot cocoa and cookies. The Carriage House Restaurant will be open, offering the addition of a holiday lunch to the Christmas at the Castle experience.

After a successful introduction last year, Castle in the Clouds is also hosting Christmas at the Castle Twilight Tours. On Christmas at the Castle dates at 3:00 p.m., visitors can enjoy a special dusk tour of Lucknow Mansion illuminated by holiday lights. Tickets for Twilight Tours are limited to allow a more intimate experience.
