Immersive Chicago Fashion experience unites fashion, wellness, and community during Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.
CHICAGO, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Confidence Apparel will present City of Confidence: Hope in Motion on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Polk Bros Park at Navy Pier. Presented during Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, the immersive fashion experience will use creativity, community, and positive messaging to remind guests that hope is not passive; it is something we create, carry, and put into motion.
Produced by Confidence Apparel in collaboration with Marisa Diaz of Navy Pier, City of Confidence will transform Polk Bros Park into an engaging multisensory experience engaging sight, sound, touch, taste, and scent. The evening will combine a fashion show, live performances, art, wellness activations, and interactive moments centered on hope, confidence, and emotional well-being.
“Fashion has always been one of the ways we help people express what they carry on the inside,” said Robin Harris, co-founder of Confidence Apparel. “Hope in Motion is about creating an experience where people not only see beautiful fashion, but also leave feeling seen, encouraged, and connected to something meaningful.”
Emmy Award-winning journalist Jasmine Minor will serve as emcee, with model and television personality Sharaun leading red-carpet coverage and guest interviews. The experience will also feature live art by local Chicago artist Jeffery Beckham, participating designers, musical and spoken-word performances, and a runway presentation from Confidence Apparel.
Guests will enjoy a curated VIP reception, five-senses brand and wellness activations, a Reflection Wall, Letters of Hope, live creative performances, an editorial photo moment, and opportunities to shop select runway pieces and exclusive merchandise.
Through its nonprofit arm, the Confidence Foundation, Confidence Apparel uses fashion, entrepreneurship, and education to support confidence-building, mental wellness, and community programming. City of Confidence extends that mission by creating a visible platform where fashion and entertainment can help open important conversations about hope, aspirations, and mental well-being.
