A 58-year-old man is being sought on theft and fraud charges after cash and credit cards were taken from staff at health-care facilities in the city’s west end.

Toronto Police said officers responded to several calls for thefts in the area of Jane St. and Weston Rd. between November 2025 and March. It is alleged that a man entered health-care facilities in the area, then proceeded to nursing stations and secured staff rooms without authorization, police said in a statement released Thursday.

Police alleged the man “took cash and credit cards out of employees’ wallets,” then used the stolen cards “to make unauthorized purchases.”
Nigel Antoine, of Toronto, is wanted for theft of a credit card, theft under $5,000, possessing/using a credit card obtained by an offence and fraud under $5,000.
He’s 6-foot with a medium build and a grey beard. He was seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, white baseball hat, white running shoes and a gold chain around his neck. He was also seen operating a red sedan.

Rideshare driver accused of assaulting passenger
A 33-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting a customer while working as a rideshare driver in downtown Toronto.
Toronto Police said they responded to a sexual assault call in the area of Bloor St. W. and Queen’s Park on Feb. 24.
“It is alleged that a male victim, 21, ordered a rideshare,” police said in a statement released Thursday. “The rideshare driver picked up the victim and during the drive (allegedly) made a sexual comment to the victim.

“The rideshare driver stopped the car and entered the back seat with the victim. The rideshare driver (allegedly) sexually assaulted the victim and left the area in his vehicle, leaving the victim on the sidewalk.”
Harsimranjot Dhillon, of Caledon, was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of sexual assault.
Police are concerned about the possibility of other alleged victims. Investigators believe the suspect’s vehicle was a grey Toyota Corolla.

Toronto man charged after bikes seized
A 39-year-old Toronto man is facing theft-related charges after a 2025 police investigation into the trafficking of stolen liquor and high-end clothing led to a recent seizure of bicycles and e-scooters.

Toronto Police said that because of the previous investigation, they were able to obtain a search warrant before raiding a residence on Tuesday in the Spadina Ave.-Dundas St. W. area, where 10 bikes and three e-scooters were seized.
Kei Lao was arrested on Wednesday and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking over $5,000 and failure to comply with a release order.
Police said bikes under the brand names of Allez, Dolce, Isinwheel, Hatchet, Shengmilo, Bianchi, Hiland and Orbea were seized, along with Sky- and Ninebot-brand scooters.

Suspects sought after North York break-ins
Police are asking the public for help in identifying two male suspects linked to three separate break-and-enter calls on Wednesday in the Lawrence Ave. W.-Keele St. area.
Toronto Police said the first incident was reported in the Lawrence-Black Creek Dr. area, where the suspects “rummaged around” the property at about 2:40 a.m. before fleeing in a black sedan without taking anything.
The second incident happened around 2:45 a.m. after the suspects forced entry into a business in the Lawrence-Keele area and “rummaged around,” but did not take anything before fleeing in a black sedan.
The third incident happened at 2:50 a.m., when the suspects forced entry to another business in the Lawrence-Keele area, “rummaged around” and took money before fleeing in a black sedan.

The first suspect is a white male who is about 6-foot-1 with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweater, grey sweatpants, black New Balance shoes and yellow gloves.
The second suspect is a Black male who is about 6-foot with a thin build and dreadlocks. He was wearing a black tuque, black shoes, a blue medical mask and black gloves.
They were operating a black Honda Civic with the Ontario licence plate CPWJ185.
